Branding, High level UI Guide, Animation
The client has some entrepreneur background, and would like to create an ecommerce platform: Gagdetarian, which highlights social interaction, encourages buyers (tech & equipment savvy, from age 20-40) to give reviews, establish a sense of community and helps promote innovative products, further in the project, user also allowed to follower certain buyer.
My role as a visual designer in the project was together with the client to materialise the concept from ground zero, which include the ideation, branding, early UI design, and animation which can be utilised in marketing or user interface.
Before the project kickoff, the client had done some marketing research of the primary target user, and in the duration of the project, through the client, we also collected their feedback to understand which direct has a higher potential to resonate well with them.

After presenting the first round of design proposal, on the client end, they also shared their mood board reference and target user feedback, which provide great insight of the direction of the visual implementation.
Animated Elements
Animation is one of the easiest ways to capture user attention and make the overall look and feel more engaging. Since many of the planned products on the platform will be gaming related, with the client, we decided to integrate some gaming elements into the animation. I added some 90s retro glitching effects into the mix, which can serve as a loading animation on the webpage.
With after effects & adobe XD, I created some mock up demo for the client, which intended to be a reference for their future development team to implement the design.
