"Does the phenomenon of over pricing in furniture industry caters designer's own interest?"
In the course of Design Culture and History, we have to design a Critical Design Poster. The topic we were interested about is the phenomenon of over pricing in furniture industry, we thought that it's conflict with designer's original concept. The purpose of design have been transformed into pure commercial, so in order to express our concept, we choose the classic Finland designer's work as a symbol. We reform and transform the shape of the furniture. And let it be a appealing poster. The work itself had participated in Aalto University's exhibition.
The visual effect is really appealing, and surely attracts lots of attention. Just that the message of the poster isn't that clear enough for all of the viewer to understand effortlessly.
